| Delivering
optimal solutions derives from
a structured, rigorous process
that begins with carefully setting
goals and, at every step, asks
the question "Are we answering
the project needs?" Our years
of experience on both the client
and agency side have enabled us
to build a process that consistently
targets the right goals—and
offers flexible, compelling approaches
to reaching those goals. |

 |
| The SiteGoals follows a proprietary
staged design development process,
one that can be compared to the
building a house. Our design stage
includes the following 3 Steps: |
 |
Step
1: Development of Wireframes
Wireframes are similar to drawing construction blueprints for a house. At this
time we establish the top-tier page architecture in a bare bones, black and white
layout. We focus purely on the structure and allocation of on-screen real estate
in how it pertains to the desired path of action for the visitor. It is in this
stage that navigation and layout issues are worked out, allowing the site to
be manipulated quickly and easily without committing to design. |
 |
Step
2: Creating the "look
and feel"
Once the framework is established the output is used to begin designing the user
interface “look and feel.” This consists of exploring a variety of
color and branding approaches, to broaden the possibilities before narrowing
it to the final design. For many this is often the stage where web development
perceptually begins. |
 |
Step
3: Creation of Designed Non-functional
Comps
Once the design is established, often derived from existing branding efforts
and focused on creating an appropriate visual identity, the process is refined
and optimized until the all elements are created. This is the final stage in
which layout can be easily modified. Then, after the top tier pages are defined
in fully designed non-functional comps, the individual elements are then created
for all additional pages, as necessary. |
|
| |
|
 |
 |
| Once the elements are designed
and web-ready, the actual page
development begins. We believe
that a technical solution should
be simple, reliable, and intelligent.
Not only must the technical solution
be well thought out, it should
be easy to use and transparent
to the user. |
| |
 |
Technology
Determinations: Due to the strength and support of several similar systems of technology
like ASP, PHP and Cold Fusion it is truly possible to create a reliable,
cost effective and measurable technical solution to solve just about any
problem. Specific technology solutions will be applied on an as-needed
basis determined by the needs of the process and existing technology infrastructure.
Any standard, reliable technology solution can be exceptionally provided
through either our in-house team or our exceptional consultant network. |
|
| |
|
 |
 |
| Upon the completion of the development
stage, final review and quality
control testing begins. It is at
this stage we review the site’s
final implementation on multiple
platforms and conditions in an
attempt to identify any inconsistencies
or errors. Once the bugs have been
ironed out, the site is ready for “live” testing. |
| |
|
 |
 |
| Following the site launch, best
practices recommend the continued
monitoring and refinement of a
site and its user experience. SiteGoals
is committed to assisting our clients
in an ongoing manner, we will happily
continue to work on additional
projects upon the agreement of
both parties with specific objectives
determined ahead of time. |
