Challenge: Red
Air's website didn't
convey the excitement and attitude
of the company. Because of the
sensitivity of the work that
they perform, Red Air needed
a good informational site to
support their sales meetings
and capabilities. The original
branding and information contained
within the site looked dated
and disparate, and wasn't
being used at all.
Assessment: A
complete re-design of Red Air's
branding and web presence was
in order. Rather than focus
on what we couldn't show,
the SiteGoals team focused
on the positives of this unique
company.
Solution: Since
the website would function
as an online company
brochure, we felt it was important
to speak about the assets that
made Red Air great. Namely, the
experience and training of the
Red Air flight team and their
advanced aircraft and simulation
tools. |
 |
The
SiteGoals team felt is was important
to instill a sense of action
in the attitude on the website,
since the Red Air team makes
a living flying combat training
exercises with the U.S. and Canadian
military. In order to achieve
this, we built a flash opening
that plays like a commercial,
outlining Red Air's capabilities
and actual images from their
missions.
Design Approach:
 |
 |
Redesign the brand to
support the reality of
Red Air, that of a dynamic
air combat team. |
 |
Design a simple, user-friendly
interface to support the
limited amount of written
content while still presenting
the company well. |
 |
Design and produce a
simple flash opening to
convey the excitement,
capabilities and attitude
of the company. |
